Want to learn machine learning but don’t know where to start? Don’t worry! Come join us at BRG 125, 4-6 pm on April 6th to learn many applications of ML using sci kit learn library in python. Our workshop will be divided into two parts. The theoretical part will cover models for machine learning algorithms such as: K Nearest Neighbors Classification, Bayesian Classification, Linear Regression and Logistic Regression. The hands-on section will focus on downloading dataset, preprocessing the data, fitting data in pre-built model in addition to predicting and testing results. This workshop requires students to have basic knowledge in python or any other object oriented programming language. *Attendees must have access to a personal computer*
