⚓ Goelo Enabler Hoists the French Flag

Edda Wind is proud to announce the official reflagging of the Goelo Enabler from the Norwegian registry to the French flag- marking a historic step for the offshore wind industry in France. 🚢

The vessel now becomes the first service vessel sailing under the French flag to operate on a French offshore wind farm - the Saint-Brieuc wind farm, located about 16km off the coast of Brittany, France.

Edda Wind is looking for skilled Electro Technical Officer's (ETO) to join our growing fleet. If you have strong experience with electrical systems, automation, industrial IT, networks, PLCs, or marine communication protocols — we want to hear from you!

What we are looking for
• Good understanding of industrial IT, automation, and technical system configuration
• Hands-on troubleshooting skills within networks, PLCs, and integrated vessel control systems
• Familiarity with Modbus, CAN bus, NMEA, or similar protocols
• Experience with PLC programming or scripting is a great advantage

We especially welcome candidates with a background from NTC Manila.

Delivery of Monsoon Enabler 🎉

On Friday, 15 August 2025, Edda Wind took delivery of Commissioning Service Operation Vessel (CSOV) “Monsoon Enabler” from VARD Vung Tau, Vietnam.

🚢 Following commissioning, Monsoon Enabler will commence operation in Taiwan for a fixed period until end of 2025.

Monsoon Enabler is one of four sister vessels designed exclusively for Edda Wind. With unparalleled flexibility and operability for operations in wind farms anywhere in the world. Prepared for zero-emission operations based on a Liquid Organic Hydrogen Carrier (LOHC) concept in addition to being methanol ready. The CSOV is 87,5 in length and can accommodate up to 120 persons in total.

Delivery of CSOV Austri Enabler 🎉

Today, 11 June, Edda Wind took delivery of Commissioning Service Operation Vessel (CSOV) “Austri Enabler” from GONDAN Shipbuilders - Astilleros Gondán. 🚢

Austri Enabler has secured a 12 months (plus options) contract following delivery and will commence operation outside UK in Q3 2025. 🌍

Austri Enabler is the fourth and last vessel in a series of four sister vessels from Gondan and follows Nordri Enabler, Sudri Enabler and Vestri Enabler. In total, Austri Enabler represents the eight vessel that Gondan has successfully delivered to Edda Wind.

Naming Ceremony for CSOV "Austri Enabler" 🎉

On Saturday, May 10, Edda Wind celebrated the naming ceremony of the Commissioning Service Operational Vessel (CSOV) “Austri Enabler” at GONDAN Shipbuilders - Astilleros Gondán in Spain.

Lady Sponsor is Ingeborg Kolbeinsen Lien, VP Accounting and Compliance in Edda Wind.

🚢 Austri Enabler is expected to be delivered from Gondan Shipbuilders in early June. As previously announced, Austri Enabler has secured a 12 months (plus options) contract following delivery and will commence operation outside UK in Q3 2025.
