In May, the River District's Todd James presented at University of New Orleans College of Engineering for the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). Todd highlighted the uniqueness of the River District development and key highlights on project infrastructure. The River District is leading the way to safe streets in the new neighborhood, ensuring that cars 🚗, pedestrians 👟, bicycles 🚲, and public transit 🚌 operate efficiently for residents and visitors.

Iam C. Tucker is the President & CEO of ILSI Engineering, a civil engineering firm in New Orleans that specializes in design projects and construction management. As a second-generation owner, Iam won contract awards across state, local, and federal agencies. Through the years, she has exponentially grown the business with dozens of employees and millions of dollars in revenue.

Iam completed the SBA 8(a) Business Development Program, which provides training and technical assistance to help small businesses compete for federal contracts. She also used an SBA-backed to help expand the business.

Under her leadership, ILSI Engineering continues to grow the company’s capabilities and clients both locally and nationally. Iam is the National Small Business Person of the Year!
