Following the installation of the Fenris jacket in 2024 and the Valhall PWP, HuginโA and Munin jackets in 2025, Sleipnir has now completed the installation of the HuginโB jacket.
The Hugin-B Jacket, weighing around 4,500 metric tons and standing 146 meters tall, was carefully towed from Verdal, moored against Sleipnir, lifted, upended and carefully set down on the seabed. Installation was completed by pile driving, grouting and completion activities.
A true heavy lift operation from start to finish, executed step-by-step thanks to strong teamwork offshore and onshore. ๐ท
Great work by everyone involved! And with Sleipnir not finished yet in the Yggdrasil field, thereโs more to come: four topsides and two flares are still scheduled for installation.
