What is your price per sq ft to refinish/install my hardwood floors?
In short, it depends. The biggest factors that affect the price of refinishing your hardwood floors are: the way the space is laid out, the size of the project, the species of wood, how the floor will be finished (what products will be applied), and the type of the existing finish. For example, 400 sq ft could be a 20'x20' family room, or it could be an entryway, hallway, kitchen, two closets, and a powder room. Although each space is 400 sq ft, it would take us much longer than sanding the square room. The type of the existing finish plays a large role as well. Prefinished, old wax finishes and painted floors can require extra attention. The condition of the existing flooring and the desired outcome can play a role in determining our sanding process. No two jobs are the same and to give our customers the best price, pricing is job specific.
