If so, you know one of the most important aspects of any spirited drive is your ability to stop! With hard driving comes hard braking, with hard braking comes high temperatures. Most enthusiasts run DOT 4 or even a DOT 5.1 Brake Fluid. Most DOT 4 fluids have a dry/wet boiling point of 446°F / 311°F, while DOT 5.1 fluids are typically 500°F/356°F.
