Government Police l G-Police The Government Police are an intergalactic law enforcement organisation and one of very organisations permitted to use lethal firearms.

Their jurisdiction covers all human planets, colonies, space craft and planetoids. After the long standing war, all governments were ordered to radically de-militarise and disarm. The large executive companies that represented the people's interests took over major roles of governing the remaining colonies. But it soon became apparent that with no armies, local sector law enforcement was insuffici

ent to maintain peace and justice with assess to military hardware being sold on every black market in the galaxy. A conference was called and it was decided that a single intergalactic law enforcement agency was needed. And that special permits would be granted to cope with the growing crime rates and increase in major violent incidents. The Government Police was born. It was compulsory that every colonies current standing military and law enforcement would be complied into the G-Police. Soon after it was deemed a successful venture and prosperous, it was made voluntary for anyone willing to sign up for active duty. Numbers swelled extensively and now the Government Police is one of the largest organisations in known space.
