"Hot rodding" an Apollo A7Lb shoulder joint for NASA. We took the design of a Apollo shoulder joint and tried new materials and improved mechanics in an attempt to reduce bending forces at 4.3 psi. Joint worked great, problem was, no one had any of the original force figures for the original A7Lb shoulder to compare our data with.
