*HEAVY PLANT ENGINEER*
Chapman Engineering Services Ltd are looking for an experienced, talented field service engineer to join our small, close knit team.
A good knowledge of all types of construction plant machinery including heavy plant, recycling and quarry machinery is a must. A Liebherr product knowledge is desirable as this contributes to 80% of our workload.
Tasks will include routine servicing, attending breakdowns and general maintenance across Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, Derbyshire and the North East to support our expanding customer base. Some nationwide travel with overnight stays will also be required.
This is a customer facing role so you will be well presented and have excellent communication skills.
You must have your own tools and be able to follow schematics, hydraulic and electrical to diagnose and rectify faults on machinery.
We are looking for a flexible person with a good sense of humour and a strong work ethic with a can do attitude as our plans can change in a phone call so out of hours breakdowns and repairs are sometimes required.
Ideally located within an hour of our yard at DN14 0NY you must hold a full UK driving license as this is a field based role that includes travel to and from our customers premises and sites.
