Aims and Objectives of the TUC
To organize and unite all registered Senior Staff Associations in Nigeria into a single entity
To promote and safeguard the economic and social welfare of its members, preserving and extending their civil rights within a free and democratic society
To secure and equitable observance of all agreements reched between the TUC and all employers of labour and
among members themselves
To promote and support legislations in the interests of Senior Staff Associations in Nigeria
To render such assistance as shall be consistent with members' interests
To encourage the participation of members in Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture at national and international levels, including the printing and publishing of the congress' newsletters, journals and books of any other undertakings
To render all possible contributions to the well being of the government and employers of labour
To ensure maximum productivity and economic sufficiency
To promote and establish cultural cooperation and social activities
To such other objectives as are lawful and are not inconsistent with the spirit and practice of trade unionism in Nigeria
To promote and encourage international fraternal relations with bodies interested in Senior Staff Associations in Nigeria
To undertake the education of its members through seminars, workshops, bulletins and educational pamphlets with a view to promoting the interests of Senior Staff Associations in Nigeria
