TEXAS: These past few weeks, DXS has had the chance to show our clients the Daikin Texas Technology Park in Waller, Texas. They attended a factory tour, showcasing how our top of the line Daikin VRV technology is manufactured and perfected before being sent off to the job site. TEXAS: Who do the experts in our industry call when they need education?

Answer: DXS Principal Scott McGinnis, P.E.

At DXS, we pride ourselves on being the experts in Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) systems. From proper VRF design within the built environment to educating on correct VRF installation, refrigerant code compliance, and VRF integration with DOAS systems such as with our partner, Oxygen 8.

At the recent ASHRAE Annual Conference, Scott was asked to present a seminar on proper design and Integration of VRF with DOAS systems as well as talk about lessons learned from real installations. Scott also chaired the ASHRAE Technical Committee 8.7 which covers VRF technology.

And yes, that is Scott's custom blazer with psychrometric charts on it.
