New in VCM Live: Misfire Detection

Misfire Detection gives HP Tuners CORE ECU users better visibility into engine combustion by identifying repeated missed firing events at the cylinder level. Whether validating a calibration or troubleshooting a drivability concern, this feature helps pinpoint where inconsistencies are occurring so you can make informed adjustments.

Detection sensitivity and activation thresholds can be configured within the calibration, allowing the system to filter out false positives and report meaningful data during engine operation under load.

Misfire Detection is designed to support more confident tuning decisions by providing reliable feedback when evaluating fueling, ignition, and overall engine performance.
