From slabs of lumber to a finished table, this table made from Ash (all from the same log off my mill) turned out pretty cool. Measured and made to fit a specific area in a small house for a big family. From a log to a finished product is one of the most satisfying things in making these tables. And the character in the wood is on point!! Onto the next one.

Decking is done! Working into the snow to get the porch roof supported on Douglas Fir 6x6’s.

Can you replace a rotted sill on a 250 year old home? Why, yes I can. The home owner contacted me about how bad the sill was. He has time off to paint his house but this through a wrench in the works. Removed the original pine sill (or what was left of it) and replaced it with Douglas Fir. Was able to get it done so he could keep moving on his project. An expected repair turned into a smooth job from start to finish. Home owner and building inspector are happy. That’s some good job satisfaction
