On October 14-17th, 2025, the Biophysics group at the Faculty of Plant Sciences of the Faculty of Science of the University of Ostrava, in cooperation with the UV4PLANTS organization, organized an international workshop for natural science students who are interested in learning new methods in the fields of plant physiology, biophysics, and analytical methods for measuring photosynthesis and metabolic status of plant tissues.
The workshop, titled “Training School on Photosynthesis under Light Stress: Methods to Detect Acclimation and Damage to the Photosynthetic Apparatus”,
included 12 hours of laboratory exercises, 6 hours of data analysis and discussion, and 7 hours of professional lectures, which were given not only by our colleagues from the Biophysics group, but also by UV4PLANTS member Prof. Wolfgang Bilger from the University of Kiel (Germany).
