Sofia Arteaga is a French/Uruguan musician, singer, sound engineer and musical expression facilitator based in Ireland since 2004. She has run regular successful musical expression workshops in the French School in Foxrock, in the Park Academy crèches around Dublin, in several Educate Together National Schools and public Libraries. She has also sung in various Latin American bands since 1997. In 2

012 she was awarded the honour of 'Best Student' at Bray Institute of Further Education College for Sound Recording Technologies, then she completed the 2 year HND Music Production course, and in 2018 completed the 3 year Honour Deree in Creative Music Production at iadt/stc. She has an excellent rapport with children and her passion for teaching, demonstrating and explaining make Sofia the facilitator of choice for musical fun!
