Itโ€™s been a busy one in the workshop, with plenty of sheet metal work moving through the machines and out the other side as finished parts.

We've barely stopped, and thereโ€™s already plenty lined up ready to go over the coming months.

Back after the bank holiday and straight onto the Taylor stud welding machine. ๐Ÿ™Œ

Itโ€™s one of the quickest ways for us to keep production moving, delivering accurate, repeatable welds with minimal setup time.

That reliability helps us stay on top of both short and longer runs while keeping lead times under control, especially during shorter working weeks when schedules are tighter.

Back in September, we invested in the ๐—ซ๐—ฌ๐—ญ ๐Ÿญ๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿฌ๐—Ÿ๐—ฅ ๐Ÿฐ ๐—ฎ๐˜…๐—ถ๐˜€ ๐—บ๐—ถ๐—น๐—น๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด ๐—ฐ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐˜๐—ฟ๐—ฒ and the ๐—ซ๐—ฌ๐—ญ ๐—–๐—ง๐Ÿฒ๐Ÿฑ ๐—Ÿ๐—ง๐—ฌ ๐—น๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ to increase capacity and strengthen what we can offer across precision engineering and fabrication.

Since then, the extra capacity and improved workflow have helped us keep jobs moving through the workshop quicker, giving customers shorter lead times while still maintaining the quality standards they expect.

Safe to say the investment has been well worth it!

Two hands are better than one!๐Ÿค

The lads are back on the Amada HG 1003 ATC getting through another order, and this machine does not hang about.

Its fast setup times and accurate bending allow parts to move through production quickly while keeping quality consistent, helping us keep lead times down and increase output when demand picks up.

You might not realise it from the outside, but inside the factory we run a complete in-house fabrication process, covering laser cutting, punching, bending, CNC machining and finishing.

Keeping everything under one roof helps us avoid third-party delays, keep projects moving without interruption and maintain greater control over quality and precision for our customers.

The welding station has the green light today, with the jigs set and the team working through the latest order.

Using heavy-duty bespoke jigs keeps each component firmly in place during welding, helping control heat distortion and maintain consistency across the entire batch, whether it's the first part or the last off the bench.

Next step: getting the job finished and sent through to inspection!
