I&E Construction Supervisor
Midland, TX

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Delegate tasks and responsibilities to the crew members.
Maintain and turn in Daily Reports for specific projects to the Superintendent and Project Manager.
Tracking projects to make sure we are executing the project within our estimated hours and budget.
Install and troubleshoot different relay’s, VFD’s, wireless or hard-wired instrumentation.
Working on different process, compression and metering equipment used in the upstream and midstream sectors of the oilfield.
Installing electrical power, control, measurement, and safety systems for the upstream and midstream sectors.
Conduct daily safety meeting with the crew members.
Motivate and coach apprentices and electricians to progress.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS:
Ten (10) years electrical experience in the Industrial oil and gas sectors.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experienced in codes and standards in NFPA 70E (NEC code book).
Master or Journeyman electrical license for the State of Texas.
Valid Driver's license.
United States Citizen.
Able to speak English fluently.

SKILLS:
Proficient in modifications and understanding electrical schematics and drawings.
Understanding of electrical systems, switchgear, and circuit types and able to troubleshoot any issues presented.
Must possess the skill set to work on low voltage and medium voltage equipment and circuits.
Knowledge of most electrical components commonly found in the oil and gas industry.
Possess the ability to install, wire and loop test PLC’s.
Ability to work safely and recognize potential hazards.
Ability to handle pressure and possess positive leadership in difficult or challenging situations.
Computer experience and proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook.

Possess strong interpersonal and excellent communication skills.

VersaTech has an opening for an HS&E Specialist to support our Permian Operations. This position is based in Midland Texas and is not eligible for per-diem or mobilization expenses.

Primary Responsibilities:

Verify that the Company and Customer policies and procedures are being followed in the Field.
Conduct multiple HS&E Job Site Audits per week in the Permian Area (Midland, Pecos, Orla, Jal, Carlsbad and surrounding areas).
Lead the Onboarding and New hire Process for HS&E Training, HR Paperwork, PPE, and coordinate with the Field Services Manager.
Lead Monthly HS&E Meetings in the Shop including developing the Power Point Presentations and coming up with content that engages the participants into meaningful discussions and dialogue with the group.
Follow up on employee suggestions for Process Improvements
Provide Monthly Reports to Management on the results of Job Site Audits
Ensure that Annual HS&E training is up to date for Employees and coordinate the various Computer Based Training and Onsite Practical Training as required.
Coordinate with the HS&E Manager to Maintain and Enhance the Company HS&E Management System.
Interface with Customers through Customer Audits, Assessments, Presentations, and other meetings and events
Perform Annual Hazzard Assessments at Facilities and Job Sites
Manage HS&E Resources as required for large projects and increases in Construction work force
Provide Incident Case Management to injured employees.
Conduct Incident Investigations and Root Cause Analysis on incidents
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years experience in an HS&E role.
Associate or Bachelors Degree in Safety Technology, Occupational Health and Safety or related field a plus.
Advanced HS&E certifications such as OSHA
Working Knowledge of local, State, Federal requirements such as OSHA, DOT, BSME and others
Ability to travel to remote jobs sites to visit with the Crew, Managers and Clients.
Excellent communication skills (both written and oral).
Ability to work with Customers, Managers, Supervisors, and Field Employees to communicate and manage our HS&E expectations
Excellent Computer Skills including Office applications such as Powerpoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook
