One of the largest unseen wastes in society is the wastewater stream. This stream contains an array of various substances, one of the most problematic being Fats, Oils, and Greases, known as FOGs. These FOG’s are the largest contributor to reduced conveyance capacity, clogs, and ruptures in the municipal waste water system, costing hundreds of millions of dollars in the US each year. We have set o
ut to change the way society views and deals with these wastes. In doing so we are able to divert landfill, mitigate substantial operational and maintenance costs, as well as produce a sustainable, low cost energy source. Our proprietary Waste Grease Extraction (WGETM) process is the technology that allows us to utilize these substances that are currently troublesome and considered wastes by society. We extract these substances from the municipal wastewater stream and use minimal processing to convert them into a low-cost biodiesel feedstock. Our feedstock can be used by any existing biodiesel producer as a fungible replacement to their existing feedstock, most likely being agricultural based (i.e. Our process offers value across the supply chain, not only acting as a remedy for Wastewater Treatment Plants (WWTPs), but also contributing to the energy security and environmental sustainability of the United States. Our technology has been wildly successful at lab scale and is currently in the design phase for a small production scale system. Upon the completion of this system and proving the viability of our technology at scale, we will be utilizing our built partnerships with local industry leaders to implement a pilot scale production facility at the largest wastewater treatment facility in Greater Cincinnati, the Metropolitan Sewer District. The operation will be capable of producing 175,000 gallons of Feedstock Annually and serve as a medium for fine-tuning our process before full-scale implementation. Being located in the Midwest, a hotbed for Biodiesel production, we see rapid expansion opportunities available following the ex*****on of our technology in commercial application at the Pilot-Scale facility. While our operation offers clear Environmental and Social benefits we also see the importance of economic growth in the Energy and Renewables markets. Because our product is generated from an essentially zero cost waste stream and our process is highly efficient, we have substantially low cost margins, allowing us to generate significant profits for our stakes holders as well as provide green job opportunities to the economy. We have dedicated our efforts to design our process so that it may be easily scaled and customized to fit virtually any WWTP in the world. We have discovered a valuable niche in an expanding renewable energy market. Our team has developed a unique technology that provides clear social, environmental, and economic benefits, allowing us to create value from waste, because not all waste is trash.
