The Orion Project
On July 5, 1947 the United States intelligence agencies and the National Advisory Committee of Aeronautics (NACA, which would become NASA the next year) retrieved an intelligent extra-terrestrial life form in Roswell New Mexico after its spacecraft precipitated to Earth. Many technological and scientific “discoveries” have been developed based on the technology recovered. Unfortunately the pilot of the vessel was in a comatose condition that led to his/her death due to brain damage three days later. At the moment it was unknown if his/her biochemistry was compatible with earth’s conditions. An autopsy performed by the most eminent scientists of the United States revealed very little back then but the body and several tissue samples were preserved and the visitor given the code name “Mogul”.
The Orion Project was started in 1983 as the highest classified scientific research in the world. It gathered a team of the most renowned experts in the field of Genetics from all over the world. The project was backed specifically by the governments of the U.S.A., former USSR, Germany, the UK and Japan, in that order. Its goal has been kept secret until recently.
Aided by the biotechnology recovered and after forty-five years of failed experiments, in 1995 mankind finally achieved the technique and knowledge necessary to successfully perform molecular cloning based on the copying of DNA fragments. In 1996, a sheep name Dolly was presented to the world as the first cloned animal, but her short life span revealed that the process was still not fully perfected. At least not to achieve what the original project had set as goal…
More research showed that for the project to be successful many of the processes had to be carried out in low or cero gravity. In 1998 the International Space Station (ISS) was launched as a habitable artificial satellite in low Earth orbit with the goal of scientific research, but mainly for the third stage of The Orion Project, classified as the Rhea I experiment.
Six versions of the experiment were performed with unclassified results. In October of 2012 the seventh version (Rhea VII) was finally successful. The Orion Project had achieved one of its main goals, if not the most important: Producing a clone of “Mogul” the extraterrestrial organism that crashed in Roswell sixty-six years ago.
On May 10, 2013 at 5:55 a.m. central United States of America earth time. “Orion” was born.
The pictures here were leaked by an unknown source. It is speculated that it was one of the astronauts that recently returned to earth last May 13.
