TuNur - تونور TuNur is developing one of the first utility-scale solar export project between Tunisia and Europe. www.tunur.tn.

TuNur est entrain de développer le premier projet d’exportation d’énergie solaire de la Tunisie vers l’Europe. The TuNur project is a commercial concept which aims at producing and exporting clean energy from Tunisia’s deserts. The Sahara desert provides significant land and solar resource, and existing technology can provide the solution. TuNur project consists of three projects in one:

•Constr

uction and operation of Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) plants with a capacity of up to 2GW in the Kebili Governorate
•2GW High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) on-land and sub-marine cable from Tunisia to Italy
•Sale of electricity to customers in Europe: Once landed in Italy power can be transported to other European countries such as Germany, Switzerland, France and the UK


Le projet TuNur est un concept commercial qui vise à produire et à exporter de l’énergie propre à partir du désert tunisien. Le désert du Sahara bénéficie d’une ressource solaire abondante et de vastes terres inoccupées. De plus la technologie est disponible pour exploiter cette énergie. Le projet TuNur consiste en trois projets complémentaires:

•La construction et l’opération de centrales CSP d’une capacité de 2GW dans le gouvernorat de Kébili.
•Un câble de 2GW en Courant Continu Haute Tension (CCHT), terrestre et sous-marin, de la Tunisie vers l’Italie.
•La vente d’électricité à des clients en Europe: Une fois injectée au réseau italien, l’électricité peut être transportée à d’autres pays européens tels que l’Allemagne, la Suisse, la France et la Grande Bretagne.
