4 grams technologies presents a novel proprietary/patented membrane and dry blood spot testing kit. The ergonomically designed kit allows the user to easily prick his finger and drop a blood spot on the membrane. The membrane is then sealed in a proprietary package and sent to our diagnostic center through normal postal services where it is used to run blood test on the user provided sample and diagnose for up to 80 different analytes.
The proprietary membrane has a very high sample retention and extraction efficiency comparable or outperforming other competitive products.
This solution avoids the cold chain transportation problem for biological sample collection and enables bottom of the pyramid to be able to access health care and diagnostic tests at a very cheap cost.
