Check out this amazing virtual event hosted by STEMinism in the Philippines.

STEMinism is a non-profit project led by the youth which advocates for feminism and inclusivity of women in STEM. Their aim is to empower Filipina students by helping them pursue both passion and excellence in different STEM fields. With this, STEMinism will be launching Carpe Futurum: Navigating Uncharted Waters, a College Major Awareness Event on July 19-23, 2021.

The week-long event via Zoom will hold various activities including webinars, college program series and interactive instagram/ facebook stories among others.

Today is a reminder and commemoration of the Philippine independence from Spain on June 12, 1898. We honor the many Filipinos who sacrificed and fought courageously for our country, for our rights, and freedom. ✊🏽

Let us continue to support Filipino Independence Day and Filipino Heritage Month by sharing our identity, culture, history and accomplishments. As well, advocate for other Filipino organizations and businesses. ❤️
