CQN Winter School on Quantum Networks

January 2 – 6, 2023 – Held Virtually
CQN will be offering our first FREE Winter School on Quantum Networks the first week of January 2023. The goal of the Winter School is to provide introductory tutorials at all levels in topics that are new to the participants, who include CQN students, postdocs, faculty, CQN industry partners, other outside qualified persons (including students at non-CQN schools), and industry and government scientists.

All In for Students seeks to help advance students who have a passion for technology to obtain the internship opportunities they are seeking! All majors are welcome, and no GPA requirements.
The program introduces college students to open source and provides them with the education, technical training and career development to help them obtain a summer internship.
Who is eligible to join?
Students enrolled full time or part time at a:
U.S. Historically Black College or University (HBCU)
U.S. Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI)
U.S. Women’s College
U.S. Community College
Any U.S. four-year institution and identify as a racial or ethnic minority

Congratulations Dr Gates

Dr. Ann Gates, UTEP Senior Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs and director of the Computing Alliance of Hispanic-Serving Institutions (CAHSI), was invited to attend the signing of the CHIPS and Science Act at the White House on Aug. 9. According to the Administration, the bill will support minority-serving institutions and spur technological innovation by harnessing the “talents of all our people.”
