Think of fuel injectors as the perfume sprayers of your engine. For the engine to run smoothly, fuel must be delivered as a fine mist—not a heavy stream. That perfect spray helps the fuel mix properly with air, creating efficient combustion. 💧⚙️
Let’s look at the different injector spray patterns and what they mean:
🚫 1. Clogged Injector
Instead of a fine mist, you get a sad single stream. This usually happens because of dirt or carbon buildup inside the injector. The result? Weak acceleration, rough engine vibrations, and higher fuel consumption. 🐢💸
📉 2. Poor Spray Pattern
Here the spray becomes uneven and messy, often caused by wear or low fuel pressure. This can lead to higher temperatures inside the engine and increase the risk of engine “pinging” or detonation. ⚠️🌡️
