Good afternoon everyone! Today Northeast Regional Weather and I collaborated to chase a strong severe thunderstorm that rolled through the West-Central part of the state earlier today! Tornado threat is diminishing, however there is a Flash Flood Warning in effect until 10:45pm for the Majority of Berks county. If you have to travel tonight, please turn around if you see any flooded roadways. Severe Thunderstorm Warnings remain in effect for parts of the county.

Good evening everyone, first report from Penn State! As much as I would like to talk about my experience so far, this is much more urgent. A strong Rotation signature has formed just to the east of bernville, looking to track into Reading. This could produce a tornado so TAKE SHELTER if you are inside of this severe thunderstorm. Be careful traveling. More updates to come when I get them.

Heads up anyone in Southern Berks, Chester, Eastern Lancaster County! Very strong storm heading your way with a strong rotation signature. Expect this to be upgraded to a Tornado Warning shortly.

Good afternoon everyone! We have a slight risk for severe weather today. The main threat will be wind and hail, but an isolated tornado is possible. Prime time for these storms will be around 7pm, but a rough estimate as given by the NWS in the image below is between 4pm and 10pm. Make sure to be careful if traveling during the evening! Tomorrow we are back to the cold. 🥶⚡️

Our area had been issued a Tornado Watch. At this time, many tornadoes have formed across many states to our south, so be aware of the threat! The main concern will be winds as they could reach up to 80mph!

Good evening everyone! I am back to warn about the severe storm risk coming in the evening hours tomorrow. This system will be much stronger than the last, which is why we have an enhanced risk for severe storms, meaning that severe storms are likely.

Some of these storms could be significant, as it is possible winds will reach above 70 mph. The highest risk will be wind, but the tornado threat is increasing at this time, so be aware of that possibility! The biggest risk for these tornados is South Central Pa and to the south.

Be careful driving as it is likely there will be objects in the road like tree branches and such. ⚡️🌩️

We are under a severe thunderstorm watch now for winds up to 65mph, quarter size hail, and a couple of tornados! There will be a second line coming later tonight.
