Horseley Bridge & Thomas Piggott was a heavy engineering manufacturing company which occupied a 23 acre site with its main entrance on Horseley rd near Dudley port in Tipton
The company ran for around 200 years until it was shut down in 1992.the time of the company closure there was roughly 150 people employed there. This group has been set up for the benefit of the former employees of all of the

departments to chat and share memories of their time while working for the company or anyone who has a story to tell.please feel free to add your memories,stories.and old photographs if you are in possession of any. I myself worked there after leaving school in 1968 until its closure,spending 23 years in the press shop initially under frank grainger and later under henry panel and bob skerrit. i will be adding loads of old photographs and news items I have from which I will scan out of five or six old 1950's/60's Christmas magazines.i look forward to hearing from old ossley collegues.
