Our anti-poaching scout, the APS, was used to track this illegal fishing vessel in very rough conditions. It launched at 3:30am and flew a 90 minute mission in 40km winds to photograph and video the illegal fishing activities and returned to the mothership at dawn. The ship had been moored there for months and has now lifted its moorings and is on the run. We are incredibly proud that our APS was able to complete the mission when a manned helicopter was unable to operate in such poor conditions. Well done team!
