🔧 Did you know why Hone After Weld (HAW) matters?

When ports, flanges or mounting components are welded onto hydraulic cylinder tubing, the heat generated during fabrication can cause distortion in the internal bore.

That's where Hone After Weld (HAW) comes in.

By carrying out the required fabrication first and completing the final honing process afterwards, the bore can be precision-finished to correct post-weld distortion and achieve the required dimensional accuracy and smooth internal surface.
