"Is your solar system truly safe and saving you money? We recently helped a client who wasn’t seeing the benefits of their solar setup and uncovered several issues that compromised both safety and efficiency. We’ve spent over 15 years ensuring every installation is built for safe, sustainable savings—so it’s shocking to see systems installed like this.
Here’s what we found: 🔸 One string of 5 panels wasn’t connected, reducing production. 🔸 The mounting structure was galvanized steel without proper solar clips—leading to corrosion risks. 🔸 Solar roof hooks weren't secured to the roof truss, risking structural integrity. 🔸 Missing solar flashing, risking cable damage and potential fire hazards. 🔸 AC and DC cables mixed in the same trunking, creating serious safety and performance concerns. 🔸 Incorrect cabling used for the solar panels.
After addressing these issues, we reinstalled the panels correctly, added proper flashing, secured cables, and separated AC and DC wiring for safety. The result? 50% more production on the first day! Now the client can enjoy safe, efficient savings with a correct installation and monthly solar maintenance.
