🚧 Concrete Floor Repair Complete! 🚧
This one was a full-scale repair job, and we’re excited to share the process with you! 🛠️ When cracks run deep, you need a solution that goes even deeper. Here’s how we tackled this floor and gave it a fresh start:
🔨 The Process:
1️⃣ Breaking Out the Old, Cracked Concrete: We removed the damaged floor completely, making sure there was a clean foundation to work with. No shortcuts here—starting fresh is key!
2️⃣ Digging 600mm Deep: To ensure the new floor lasts, we dug down to a depth of 600mm, creating a solid base that will support heavy loads and stand the test of time.
3️⃣ Filling with Dolerite: We filled the area with high-quality dolerite, compacting it in layers of 150mm for maximum stability. This ensures the base is rock-solid and won't shift or settle.
4️⃣ Rebar Installation: Next, we fixed the rebar in place to reinforce the new slab. This step strengthens the structure, preventing future cracking and adding durability to the floor.
5️⃣ Pouring Fresh Concrete: Finally, we poured the new concrete, finishing with a smooth and even surface that’s ready to handle anything. 🏗️
This floor is now more durable than ever, with a strong foundation and reinforced concrete that will stand up to years of wear and tear. 🧱
