What is a Carpenter?
A carpenter is a skilled craftsman who constructs, repairs, and installs structures and objects made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.
*Types of Carpenters:*
1. Residential Carpenter: Builds and renovates homes.
2. Commercial Carpenter: Works on offices, restaurants, and retail spaces.
3. Cabinetmaker: Specializes in custom cabinets and furniture.
4. Ship Carpenter: Constructs and repairs boats.
5. Finish Carpenter: Focuses on trim work, molding, and finishing.
*Carpenter Responsibilities:*
1. Reading blueprints and plans
2. Measuring and cutting materials
3. Assembling and installing structures
4. Repairing and maintaining existing structures
