SANDF Management had on the 09 November 2015 arbitrarily dismissed 47 Soldiers who were part of the UN Mission OPS MISTRAL XXiii in DRC. Reasons advanced by the SANDF Management in dismissing these workers are not in any way grounds for dismissals, but an issue of internal disciplinary process. SASFU National Task Team as a Military Trade Union and also friends of SANAFU Blog took the matter with the Chief of SANDF and a host of other Structures within the Department of Defence. There has since been a progress towards this engagement. SASFU NTT is confident that sanity will prevail and these Soldiers would be reinstated and will face Internal Military Disciplinary Process.
