⚙️ INTRODUCING ALTEX INNOVATIONS ⚙️

Not every idea starts on a drawing board.

Some start with a completely new thought.
Some start with looking at something that already exists and asking:

“What if we did this differently?”

That is the thinking behind the Innovations side of Altex Innovations & Engineering.

This part of Altex will feature our own pre-designed products and engineering ideas — designs developed from new concepts, practical needs, and sometimes simply finding a different way of doing something.

Unlike our custom engineering work, these will be set Altex designs that can eventually be ordered as finished products.

We’re not open for business just yet. Right now, we’re building the workshop, developing the brand and sharing the journey as we work toward making Altex a reality.

Over the next few weeks, we’ll start showing you some of the Innovations already taking shape. 👀

⚙️ From a Dream to a Workshop - Help Us Build Altex Innovations & Engineering ⚙️

Every engineering business starts somewhere. For Altex, that starting point is a machine.

We are starting a new journey to build Altex Innovations & Engineering — a South African engineering business focused on turning ideas, drawings and real-world problems into practical, manufactured solutions.

Our long-term vision is to build a sustainable workshop that can provide:

🔧 Mechanical engineering & design
📐 Engineering drawings & 3D modelling
⚙️ Conventional machining & turning
🛠️ Drilling & boring
🔩 Component repair & replacement
💡 Prototyping & product development
🏭 Small-batch manufacturing
🔨 Fabrication & milling
💻 And, eventually, CNC machining

We want to build a business that can serve individuals, local workshops, engineering companies and industrial customers — while creating opportunities for local manufacturing, practical skills development and entrepreneurship.

🚀 OUR FIRST GOAL: R120 000 🚀

We are launching a BackaBuddy fundraising campaign to raise R120 000 toward the machinery, tooling and workshop equipment needed to establish Altex's initial machining capability.

This first machine will be the foundation from which we can start producing components, taking on small jobs, developing prototypes and gradually growing the business.
