When cement build‑up looks “impossible”, that’s when the chemistry gets interesting.😎

In this demo in Johannesburg, our sales rep, Mangaliso, put Cement Remover M and Auto‑Shine to work on a piece of equipment that had been buried under layers of cement and grime.

☝️We applied Cement Remover M, agitated with an industrial broom, left it to pe*****te for just five minutes, then scrubbed again to lift the loosened deposits.

✌️To finish, we followed with Auto‑Shine to neutralise the strong acid, add extra degreasing power and bring the metal back to life before rinsing. One short process later, the heavy build‑up was gone and the metal underneath was visibly cleaner and brighter… with plenty of room to push it even further if needed.

If your plant is fighting stubborn cement on equipment, vehicles or floors, this is the kind of result you can expect when the right products and process come together on site. 🚀

When you finally get to meet the person behind the big sustainability report your boss brought back from Belgium. 🌱

Last week we had the privilege of hosting Joanna Dewaele, Corporate Sustainability Manager at Christeyns, at our Cape Town head office. Joanna leads Christeyns’ global sustainability strategy and is the driving force behind their “Towards a Greener Future” framework - the tree you’ll see in these photos, rooted in principles, people, prosperity, planet and products. ♻️

🧪 She spent the morning walking our team through how Christeyns is embedding these ideas across their business - from UN‑aligned sustainability goals and carbon footprint reporting, to collaborations with universities and research institutions that push greener chemistry and processes forward.

For Orlichem, now part of the Christeyns family, this isn’t just interesting theory. It’s the roadmap for how we bring more energy and water‑efficient solutions, safer products and responsible practices into the South African market, keeping our local identity, while thinking much bigger about people and planet. 🇿🇦

Last week, Orlichem was on the move again!😮‍💨 ✈️

Our director, Ryszard Orlik, headed up to Johannesburg with our national hospitality sales manager to spend time with the Joburg branch, visit key customers and sit down for some important strategy sessions (with a KFC treat for the team) 😉

At the same time, our national industrial sales manager, Chantelle, was in Gabon, meeting clients and working alongside our partners in the Daron group.

Different countries, same goal: staying close to our teams and our customers so we understand what’s happening on the ground…not just on a spreadsheet.

From Joburg to Gabon, it was a full week for the Orlichem team 💪

We are expanding… again!

We’re busy turning our Cape Town home base into something much bigger, growing from 2 100 m² to 3 100 m², almost a 50% increase in space. This new wing will give us:

✅ Larger manufacturing capacity
✅ Increased storage for raw materials and finished goods
✅ A small retail area for walk‑in customers
✅ A fully equipped kitchen for guests and staff
✅ More boardrooms and office space as our team grows

This is just the “before” and we can’t wait to show you what it looks like when it’s finished.
