Components used in manufacture of AQUAHOUND VALVES COMPLY WITH WRAS STANDARDS AND ARE ALSO SANS COMPLIANT
The AquaHound is an isolation valve.
AquaHound has been thoroughly tested by both OMEGA Test House and SA INDEPENDENT AUDITING SERVICES and is SA national standards COMPLIANT.
SANS 102 52-: 2018 PART1
SANS 10254 : 2017
AQUAHOUND valves have evidence which has been submitted in SA proving compliance.
The components used in manufacture complies with WRAS (Water Regulations Advisory Scheme) in the UK.

All components are approved by above.
Every unit has been tested at 15 Bar pressure.
IOPSA (Institute of Plumbing SA) and PIRB (Plumbing Industry Registration Board) have said that they will treat the valve no differently to any other valve as long as the plumber has evidence that it complies with the respective SANS
Fitting onto geyser or mains does not affect their warranty, but it needs to be fitted correctly by a qualified plumber.
It must be fitted upstream of a geyser pressure valve. This is standard and understood by qualified plumbers.
The unit is designed to work for 1 burst geyser/pipe/leak due tot the fact that it will have undergone a certain amount of stress in detecting and shutting off a leak.
There are extra leak detector pellets in a small ziplock bag which needs to be adhered to the geyser as well as a sticker with instructions on how to reset the valve in the unlikely event of an accidental release. If homeowner is not comfortable with procedure to reset they must call a plumber.
