One face. No detonation.
This is an AutoStem charge going into a tunnel face. Cartridges into the drilled holes, crew back to a safe distance, fire.
The cartridge deflagrates. It does not detonate. The reaction runs below 343 metres per second, so gas pressure does the work: the rock is pushed, shoved and heaved, with extremely limited shattering and little fly rock.
Re-entry in as little as 7 minutes after firing.
The Generation III range runs from 35 mm to 87 mm, is water resistant, ships as UN 1.4S and keeps for 18 months.
