The Daikin Annual Awards Evening was a night to remember — celebrated in true Gatsby style with our valued partners and team.
The highlight of the evening was the long-awaited reveal of our next incentive destination: Japan. A country of extraordinary culture, landscapes, and experiences — and one we cannot wait to share with our top achievers.
The evening also marked a significant milestone as we said farewell to our Managing Director, Koen Van Wynendaele. Over nearly seven years, Koen has been instrumental in shaping Daikin South Africa — driving profitability, strengthening the business, and building a foundation that will carry us forward. He now takes his expertise to Daikin Scandinavia, and we wish him every success in this next chapter.
We are equally excited to welcome William Ch'ng Wu Kwee as our incoming Managing Director, bringing 14 years of Daikin experience to the role.
