Horizontal band saw

Before the start of Invent Engineering (Pty)Ltd I had a small tree felling business, and sometimes we had to throw away some pretty good wood that was removed from properties in the city. So, I built this sawmill in a double garage in order to recover timber from the trees we had to cut. I built this machine without the help of Cad design and laser cut parts, just with some basic tools and parts off the shelf. I am very proud of this achievement and have used this machine for a long time. Later upgrades included programable auto thickness setting with the help of a friend electrical engineer.

At Invent Engineering, innovation doesn't stop at engineering.

I'm passionate about hunting, precision shooting, reloading, and, above all, inventing practical solutions to real-world challenges. Barn Owl Shooting was created to combine those passions and develop innovative products for the shooting community.
