We are expanding our team!

We are looking for an individual who is energetic, hands-on, eager to learn, and passionate about technology and problem-solving.

This opportunity is ideal for graduates with qualifications in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, Renewable Energy, or related technical fields who are eager to gain practical experience and build a long-term career within South Africa's growing renewable energy sector.

The successful candidate will work alongside experienced engineers and technicians, gaining exposure to:

• Commercial and industrial solar PV systems
• Fault finding and technical diagnostics
• System commissioning and performance verification
• Monitoring platforms and remote diagnostics
• Preventative maintenance and on-site technical support
• Renewable energy technologies and industry best practices

Previous solar experience would be advantageous, but is not essential for candidates with the right attitude and technical foundation.

Our Director, Ed Selley, recently had the unique opportunity to visit China with MSPD-Africa and Fox ESS, spending time with the engineers behind the technology and seeing firsthand how their products are manufactured, tested, and quality checked.

For Ed, one of the highlights was the opportunity to "Discuss the real-world challenges installers face directly with the engineers designing and refining the products."

With 17 years of experience in the solar industry, he was able to bring practical questions from the field around performance, reliability and long-term operation, while gaining valuable insight into the thinking behind the technology.

This week, our Director, Justin Hughes, joined industry partners on a visit to Sigenergy's Nantong Manufacturing Centre and R&D facility.
