After completing her engineering degree, Refiloe Phefo was actively seeking internship opportunities when she joined the Wind Turbine Technician training programme.

Her passion for renewable energy grew while working on projects involving energy storage and solar integration systems, inspiring her to pursue a future in sustainable power.

Although she has not visited a wind farm before, she has seen turbines in the distance – enough to spark her curiosity about how they work.

Now, she is ready to learn, grow, and contribute to South Africa’s clean energy future.
