From A-Frame NFT systems to our latest vertical hydroponic towers, innovation is always growing at Hazile Group.

Our A-Frame system is producing beautiful spinach, while our newest vertical system is thriving with mixed lettuce. This innovative design combines the benefits of NFT and Deep Water Culture (DWC), allowing water to remain available to the plants even when the pump is not continuously running.

But great harvests don’t come from the system alone.

High-quality produce is the result of the right combination of:
✅ Hydroponic system design
✅ Balanced nutrient formulations
✅ Appropriate organic growing media
✅ Healthy, vigorous seedlings
✅ No pesticides
✅ Consistent farm management

When these elements work together, the result is fresh, nutritious, premium-quality produce all year round

At Hazile Group, we’re proud to demonstrate how smart agritech solutions can maximise productivity while using resources efficiently.

Did you know? Hydroponic farming can use up to 90% less water than traditional farming method?

Agriculture is evolving quickly climate pressures,
technology and new production systems are changing how farmers operate.

That means farmers, entrepreneurs, researchers and extension professionals all bring different forms of knowledge.

Practice-led models like the one shared in my paper are not about replacing roles they are about sharing practical experience from working farms.

When we stay open to learning from each other, innovation spreads much faster.

After presenting my research paper at the GDARD Agricultural Extension Conference, I had an interesting conversation about the Hazile practice-led farmer support model.

The confusion came from assuming that when we train farmers and run buy-back programmes, we are doing the work of government extension officers.

That’s not what the paper said.

Practice-led support from working farms is part of value-chain development, not a replacement for extension services.

But it reminded me how important it is to listen fully before responding.

Part 2 tomorrow why listening matters even more in modern businesses/agriculture.

Spring onions are more powerful than most people realise.

Beyond flavour, they contain natural compounds that support heart health, immune function, and digestion.

At Hazile Group, we grow ours without pesticides and carefully dry them to preserve their natural goodness giving you convenience without compromise.

Clean ingredients matter.

Enjoying the morning breeze at Hazile Farm 🌬️🌱

Even with an injured hand, I show up — imperfect, unfiltered, and committed.

Sustainable, pesticide-free hydroponic farming isn’t always easy, but it’s the work I love, and I wouldn’t change this journey for anything.

2025 was a defining year for Hazile — one rooted in purpose, innovation, and responsibility

This year, our work in sustainable agriculture was recognised through industry and innovation awards, including recognition linked to the Top Agriprenuer World Food Prize, affirming our commitment to building climate-smart, future-ready farming solutions. We didn’t chase growth for visibility — we built for impact.

In parallel, Hazile contributed to global policy conversations by participating in the G20 B20 Task Force, ensuring farmer-centred, African agribusiness perspectives were represented at international level.

We invested in and installed new hydroponic systems, expanding our production capacity while using less land and significantly even less water.

Beyond our own operations, we stepped further into service by introducing water harvesting solutions for farmers, supporting resilience in a water-scarce environment.
Saving water is no longer optional — it’s essential.

2025 also marked a brand evolution. We transitioned to fully recyclable packaging, aligning our products with the values we stand for, not just the markets we serve.

And after years of development, refinement, and belief, we officially patented our Eco-Farm Pod — a milestone that protects African innovation and enables scalable, sustainable food production. Influenced and motivated by the doctoral research by our CEO into women using technology to farm

At Hazile, sustainability isn’t a trend — it’s the foundation.
We are building systems that work with nature, empower farmers, and secure food futures.
Onward — with intention, innovation, and impact
