The Limpopo Women in Mining (WIM) Regional Forum hosted its first-ever Golf Day, bringing together mines, contractors, suppliers and business partners from across the province for a day of golf in support of the Thuthuzela Care Centre (TCC) at Dilokong Hospital.

All proceeds went towards supporting the Centre's critical work in assisting survivors of gender-based violence and sexual offences, providing integrated medical care, trauma counselling, legal assistance and social support to communities in the Greater Tubatse region and beyond.

To every mine, contractor, supplier and partner who registered a team or came on board as a sponsor, thank you for showing that the mining sector doesn't just build infrastructure, it builds lasting support systems for the communities it serves.

The KG Rabada Fast Bowling Academy, founded by Proteas bowler Kagiso Rabada, hosted a bowling clinic at the Berseba Multi-Purpose Facility, bringing together pacers from Berseba and the Rustenburg Hub for expert coaching.

The clinic builds on the Berseba Cricket Programme, a partnership between Glencore's Rhovan Mine, the Bakwena ba Mogopa Traditional Council, and Cricket South Africa, giving the youth access to coaching, facilities, and real opportunities on and off the field.
