Hey guys I'll admit I haven't posted in a while. Been busy wrapping up the container. Installing ceiling, cupboards, painting etc.

Happy with the progress so far, still need to complete a deck outside as well as put up a carport. We aiming to be completed for the end of the month.

The unit will be rented out beginning of June. Let me know if you know of anybody looking for a place to stay. The container is based in Fairleads Benoni.

I will be posting some more photos once it is more presentable😁👍🏼

We have been making some progress lately. Completed the roof. We dug the trenches for sewage, grey water as well as electricity today. Moving forward slowly.

The roof is going up one step at a time. Last week we installed all the beams. This week we will be fabricating the posts as well as installing all the perlins. After that it is roof time🏠

Hi guys wanted to have a quick little update here. I haven't been posting in a while as the project took a bit of a back burner due to work and other reasons.

However I'm happy to say the project is under way this year, will be posting updates as it happens. Follow along if you'd like to see the finished project.

First up we've got a load of timber to start working on a roof for the container as well as a veranda. It's a mix of 114x38, 152x38, 76x50 and 38x38.

It's been a while since I posted any content here. I got a full time job that I have been working on so there isn't to much spare time around.
Here is a progress update on the project in the free state.
Installation of the patio doors coming along nicely!

Quick little update insulation is going in.
Electrics have been installed.

Windows and doors in and sealed.
Today I focused on the inside and started the framing.

Good News!!!
Container arrived today, and so the work begins. Bathroom and kitchen windows are installed. The two sliding doors are next. Once installed just need to be sealed inside and out and then it's on to burglar bars.

We going to be taking delivery of the first container in the next few days.
Looking forward to getting started with installing the windows and doors.

I'm excited to say that I will be fitting out 2 containers this year. Slightly different approach than the last one. Both single bedroom with open plan kitchen and lounge and a bathroom. However not as high end finishes. Going to be trying the insulation and cladding slightly different this time around. Watch this space!!!

New Year new Goals!!!
I have started the process of fitting out a new container.
First port of call is the foundation blocks.
I cast 6 blocks per container. Main reason for the blocks is ease of installation, minimal labour needed on-site, and minimal footprint left on the property when the unit needs to be moved.
