We are pleased to share another positive step forward for the Bengwenyama PGM-Chrome Project.
The updated Prefeasibility Study values the project at US$1.96 billion after tax, marking encouraging progress as Bengwenyama moves closer to development. With the Mining Right awarded in August 2026, our next major milestone is the Definitive Feasibility Study, targeted for completion by the end of March 2027.
For us, progress is not only about advancing the project. It is also about the potential to support local economic activity and create meaningful opportunities for the communities around us.
There is still important work ahead, and we look forward to taking the next steps responsibly, openly and together with our communities and stakeholders.

Home to the Bushveld Complex and some of the world's most significant PGM resources, South Africa continues to offer a compelling destination for long-term mining investment and development.

For Southern Palladium, that opportunity is reflected in the Bengwenyama PGM+Chrome Project, where the focus remains on advancing a quality asset through a disciplined development pathway.

Speaking at Joburg Indaba today, Southern Palladium Executive Chairman Roger Baxter highlighted the critical role junior mining companies play in driving exploration, attracting investment and developing the next generation of mineral projects.

During the panel discussion, Roger Baxter noted that junior miners account for around 40% of global exploration expenditure and discover approximately 70% of Tier 1 mineral assets. Yet South Africa’s listed junior mining sector remains relatively small despite the country’s world-class mineral endowment.

Southern Palladium is an example of how new entrants can unlock opportunities, attract international capital and advance strategic mineral projects. With more than 20 years of mining and project leadership experience, Michiel has successfully guided projects from study phase through construction and into production. His expertise in stakeholder alignment, team leadership and project delivery will be instrumental as Bengwenyama progresses from Definitive Feasibility Study through construction and into operations.

Southern Palladium Limited is proud to welcome France Modau as Mine Manager for the Bengwenyama PGM + Chrome Project.

With more than 13 years of underground PGM mining experience, France joins the project with deep expertise in mine development, hybrid mining operations and operational turnarounds. Having held key leadership roles across several of South Africa's leading platinum operations, he brings valuable experience in building high-performing teams and driving production excellence.

As Bengwenyama advances towards development, France will play a key role in establishing a safe, disciplined and high-performing mining operation.

The Mining Right is not the finish line. It is the start of the next phase of the development of the world-class Bengwenyama PGM-chrome project.
With this major milestone achieved, Southern Palladium remains focused on advancing the Project through a number of critical workstreams, including completion of the Definitive Feasibility Study, financing initiatives, engineering progression and development planning.
The Company will continue to work responsibly with all key stakeholders while maintaining momentum toward development readiness and long-term value creation.
