A well-planned extension can completely transform a home without turning the renovation process into a logistical nightmare.
For this project, we made clever use of the existing slab to create an en-suite bathroom while also providing cover for the existing stoep. The majority of the construction was completed from the outside, including the roof, allowing the client to continue using their room throughout most of the project.
Only once the main construction was complete did we need access inside to finish the tiling, ceilings, painting, doors and fixtures. The client simply moved out of the room for the final stage, and now they’re back in their room with a fantastic finished result.
This is what proper planning and a well-managed renovation looks like.
