Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Chemical Mixer Operator to join our production team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The Chemical Mixer Operator is responsible for safely and accurately mixing, blending, and preparing chemical batches according to precise formulas and production schedules. This role ensures product quality, adheres to safety protocols, and maintains efficient operation of mixing equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate industrial mixers, blenders, pumps, and related equipment to combine raw chemicals per batch instructions.
• Accurately measure, weigh, and add liquid and dry ingredients using scales, meters, and automated systems.
• Monitor mixing processes (temperature, pressure, viscosity, pH) and adjust parameters as needed.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), batch records, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Perform in-process quality checks and document results.
• Clean and sanitize equipment between batches to prevent cross-contamination.
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions or process deviations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations.
• Assist in inventory tracking of raw materials and finished products.
Requirements
Essential Qualifications:
• Chemical Plant Operator N5/N6 or any relevant related qualification.
• 1+ years of experience in chemical mixing, batch processing, or manufacturing (preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, formulas, and safety data sheets (SDS).
• Basic math skills (fractions, percentages, conversions) and attention to detail.
• Comfortable wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) including respirators, gloves, and protective suits.
• Physical capability to stand for long periods and work in environments with chemicals and odors.
Preferred Skills:
• Knowledge of hazardous material handling (HazCom) and spill response.
• Experience in industries such as coatings, adhesives, or specialty chemicals.

• Team player with good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines.
