We are performing critical maintenance and optimisation at the Loerie Water Treatment Works to restore and maximise water supply to Nelson Mandela Bay. Our team is working around the clock to repair key components, and enhance pumping efficiency. This urgent intervention aims to unlock the plant's full capacity, ensuring every possible litre of treated water is pushed into the Metro's distribution network.

Our focus is on swift, effective action to alleviate the immediate water shortage while supporting long-term system resilience. Every effort is being made to accelerate this process and bring relief to our communities.
