Siyanda Bakgatla Platinum Mine (SBPM) is aware of a recent scam involving a group of students who were misled by individuals falsely claiming to represent our company. These fraudsters solicited payments for medical examinations and certificates, under the guise of a fake recruitment process.

Upon becoming aware of the incident, SBPM acted swiftly and in coordination with relevant stakeholders to safeguard their wellbeing. We are pleased to confirm that all affected students are safe, and we are currently conducting a comprehensive investigation into the matter in collaboration with the appropriate stakeholders.

We strongly urge the public to exercise caution and vigilance. SBPM does not, under any circumstances, charge applicants for job opportunities, medicals, or certifications. All legitimate job postings and recruitment communications are published exclusively through our official website.
