The position is based in Worcester and is for an electrical contracting company, doing routine maintenance, installation and breakdown fault finding work around Worcester. Solar experience will be an advantage, but the candidate will be expected to learn and pursue a PV Green Card SAPVIA/ P4 AREP.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 & 𝗱𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱:
Assembly & installation of electrical boxes, DB Boards, other enclosures, conduits pipes, tubing, trunking, ground leads and connecting of power to different equipment / machinery. Wiring of circuit breakers, transformers and electrical equipment Performing maintenance and identifying maintenance requirements on electrical equipment. Fault finding Ensuring that preventative maintenance is executed according to schedule. Performing ad-hoc duties. Reading and understanding of electrical drawings Commercial and Industrial electrical installation services (three phase and single phase). Power continuity Fault findings. Rectifying distribution boards. Securing all open joints. Ensure that equipment and machinery is maintained at the highest level and runs efficiently. Must adhere to the relevant electrical codes, procedures & safety policies.

𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱:
N3 equivalent /Electrical qualification (NQF 4), Electrician Trade Must be a qualified electrician with a valid trade tested certification through an accredited institution (single and three phase.) Must have a Red Seal qualification, Wireman’s Licence will be adv. Minimum of 4 - 5 years 'experience within this industry’. Code 8 drivers licence a must.

Candidates must be able to communicate in English or Afrikaans. Position is available immediately.
