I’m not one for mudslinging on Facebook, but I do feel it’s my duty to say something, especially with summer around the corner.
Every year when summer arrives, we see more and more people popping up as “aircon specialists”. Suddenly everyone can install an aircon, everyone is an expert and everyone has the cheapest price. 😅
But there is a reason why some companies are a bit more expensive. There is also a reason why some companies are fully booked and why customers keep coming back.
We are a registered company with qualified staff and licensed gas technicians. We take pride in our work and we do things properly.
Just last week alone, we attended to more than 9 incorrectly installed aircons in the Helderberg Basin.
And two of those jobs were serious. The installations had faults that could potentially have caused a house fire.
Believe me, it can happen much quicker than you think.
An aircon installation is not just about putting the unit on the wall, connecting the pipes and switching it on. There are a lot of things that need to be done correctly.
We use high-quality copper piping, proper materials and the correct installation methods. We also stand behind our workmanship.
So before you accept the cheapest quote, maybe ask a few questions:
👉 Who is actually doing the installation?
👉 Are they qualified and experienced?
👉 Is the company registered?
👉 Do they have qualified and licensed technicians?
👉 What materials are they using?
👉 Is the electrical supply being done correctly?
👉 What warranty are you getting?
👉 And will they still answer your phone when something goes wrong?
CHEAP CAN BECOME VERY EXPENSIVE.
